Background: Daishi, is wrestler Sam "The Man" Horrey. After his betrayal by Ryan Matthews at I-Wars and the subsequent losses he's had since then, Sam decided that it was time for a change in philosophy. No longer would he adhere to the principles of Love, Honor, Empathy and Respect, but instead become a slave to the sinister "Dark Shooto" force which laid dormant in his genetic makeup. Only time will tell if this was the right path for Sam to take...

Appearance: His complexion is comparable to LL Cool J. Upper Body is physically comparable to Ravishing Rick Rude back in the early 90's. Thick thighs. Also has over 80 Japanese characters cris-crossing his upper body and face and bald head ala Hakushi. To the ring he wears long black gi pants with a bright, silver dragon going down the sides of both legs. The gi pants are tucked inside of his black shinguards, which are over his padded boots. Has black tape across wrists.

Wrestlers Alignment: Neutral leaning towards the opposite of Ryan Matthew's side.

Wrestling Style: Mixed Martial Arts/ brawling

Gimmick: Think, the Great Muta, mixed with Undertaker, but from "Da Hood." Yup pretty much a mouthful if I do say so myself.

Theme Song: "Down and Out" by Cam'ron feat. Kanye West

Trademark Moves: 1. Guiding Light Suplex - version of the gutwrench suplex made famous by Aleksandr Karelin, where the opponent is dropped on the back of their head and neck, after being gutwrenched into the air

2. Zanku Kyaku (Sky Slashing Kick)-- Daishi whips opponent into opposite corner, and does a cartwheel into a jumping spinning back hook kick, to the opponent's head.

3. Senpu Hassatsu (Sky Walking Destroyer)--He does his version of the praying rope walk, holding the opponent's arm in a top wristlock while walking on the top rope, from one ringpost, to the other. Only instead of hitting the opponent with a chop to the head, he hits the opponent with a spinning back hook kick to the back of their head.

4. Boiling point--Daishi launches off a blitz of martial arts manuevers; punches and kicks, which go unanswered by his opponent.

5. Shining Demon--Daishi runs off an opponent's knee, but instead of delivering the Shining Wizard, the opponent ducks causing Sam's leg to land behind the opponent, so that he could blast the opponent with a hook kick to the back of their head.

6. Spews either green, red, or black mist into the eyes of an opponent. Sometimes will use all three in a match.

Finishing move : He's got two of them:

1. Katushite Mawashi (Deceptive Roundhouse kick) Daishi levels an opponent with a serious roundhouse kick to the head, and then sweeps the opponents legs out from underneath him, causing him to land on the back of his head.

2. Satousi (Muderous intent) Daishi uses the same furious roundhouse kick to the head of his opponent, only this time the opponent is not swept, but is met with an equally brutal spinning back hook kick as well. No one has gotten up from this maneuver
